Cuba, officially the Directorate of Cuba, is a nation in eastern America. It is bordered by Loklan to the west, Zela to the east, and Bec to the north. It has a coast with James Bay to the northwest and the Ontro Sea to the south.

Cuba is ranked moderately high for civil liberties and political freedom. Freedom of religion is not protected and members of some religions, especially Humanitarianism, experience inequality regularly. Additionally there are some minor restrictions on political ideologies and speech. The current director is operating as a totalitarian, however Jarolin Pozo has not exhibited any tyrannical behaviour.

Cuba’s economy is very strong with a high standard of living and low levels of disparity. Cuba is the major banking and business centre of America along with being a major space transportation hub mainly serving eastern and central America. Cuba is also the only country in the world outside of Tempor and Dinmir to possess and manufacture robotic anti-gravity controllers. This is a result of the special relationship between Maria Perak, a former Grand Priest of Tempor, and Juno Almánzar, a former Director of Cuba. During Perak’s term, Cuba and Tempor had extensive trade between them.

Etymology

The origin of the word Cuba is unknown. Some sources from the Federation National Digital Library say it may be from a dead language from the early second millenium, however these are undetailed and uncomfirmable.
