Lomba, officially the Kingdom of Lomba, is a nation in southern America. It is bordered by Asal to the northeast, Sury to the north, and the American Nomadic Region (ANR) to the west. It has a coast with the Gulf of Misipee to the east and the Flora Sea to the southeast.
Lomba has relatively high ratings of civil liberties compared to the rest of the continent, along with high ratings of political freedom. All civil liberties are respected, along with a high level of security. A strong and well-trained security force has allowed this high level of safety and Lomba is credited to have the most secure border in the world located along the ANR border. Criticism of the government and monarchy is completely legal and an elected government exists as an advisor to the monarchy and representative of the people.
Lomba has a strong economy including a wide variety of goods and services. Lomba produces a significant amount of oil, gas, and metal along with agricultural products, banking, technological firms, and vehicles. Lomba’s diverse economy and high GDP provides the population with high economic stability and little poverty.
Etymology
Lomba is considered by etymologists a very odd name for a country in America, since the sound and spelling is more reminiscent of African names. The origin of the name is unknown. It is suspected that it may come from the United States of America state Alabama, however there is only a loose connection based solely on spelling a geographical proximity. Currently, no other theory exists.
