The '''Dessauer M1860''', officially the '''Gevær Dessauer-Stuhr, Modell 1860''', was an [[Acrea|Acrean]] military breech-loading rifle which replaced the [[Dessauer M1836]] in 1860 as the Acrean Army's standard infantry rifle. Originally a single-shot rifle using metallic cartridges, the design was updated to incorporate an 8-round tubular magazine beneath the barrel in 1868. All new production rifles from 1868 and after were produced with this design as the '''Gevær Dessauer-Stuhr, Modell 1868''', with some older M1860 rifles retrofitted and introduced as the '''Gevær Dessauer-Stuhr, Modell 1860/68'''.
