The '''flag of the World Council''' was adopted on November 5, 1956, and consists of the official emblem of the [[World Council]] in white on a {{wp|blue}} background.

==Design==

The emblem's design is described as:

The {{wp|olive branch}}es are a {{wp|peace symbol|symbol for peace}}, and the sphere represents the world and the voice all the people and the countries have throught the council chambers.

White and blue are the official colours of the [[World Council]].

==Use==

According to the Convention on the Safety of World Councils and Associated Personnel, the emblem and the flag of the World Councils can be used by the personnel and material of WC {{wp|peacekeeping}} missions as a {{wp|protective sign}} to prevent attacks during an {{wp|War|armed conflict}}.

The World Councils flag may also be flown as a garrison flag with other country flags.
