Template:Infobox Flag The flag of the World Council was adopted on November 5, 1956, and consists of the official emblem of the World Council in white on a blue background.
Design
The emblem's design is described as:
The uses of cartographic elements of the globe represented by the sphere create what appear to be parliamentary benches of the council chambers, inscribed in a wreath consisting of crossed representation of olive branches.

The olive branches are a symbol for peace, and the sphere represents the world and the voice all the people and the countries have throught the council chambers.
White and blue are the official colours of the World Council.
Use
According to the Convention on the Safety of World Councils and Associated Personnel, the emblem and the flag of the World Councils can be used by the personnel and material of WC peacekeeping missions as a protective sign to prevent attacks during an armed conflict.
The World Councils flag may also be flown as a garrison flag with other country flags.
