The Alliance of Farmers, Fishers and Rurals (also known simply as Alliance) is a new political party in Malgrave formed before the 2014 Malgravean General Election. It is currently the smallest political party in the Chamber of Representatives and the Chamber of Supervisors.

History

In the lead-up to the 2014 Malgravean General Election, the The Future Party came under investigation after it released material advocating for the development of nuclear weapons, with the end result being the forced dissolution of the party. At this time, the Agricultural Coalition (Malgrave) was also investigated for similar breaches and it met the same fate.

Fearing that rural communities wouldn't get proper representation, a group of representatives from the agricultural and fishing sector decided to found a political party to contest the 2014 Malgravean General Election in which they won a four seats in the Chamber of Representatives and a singular seat in the Chamber of Supervisors, since then the party has added a representative in both chambers and is regarded as a decent advocate for rural Malgraveans.

Political Platform

Economic Affairs

Economically, the Alliance of Farmers, Fishers and Rurals focuses mainly on ensuring the provision of essential services such as MalTra, MalMart and MalPost to rural areas alongside suitable regulations to support agricultural workers and those in the fishing sector export their goods abroad.

Alliance politicians have also called for increased internal promotion of goods produced in Malgrave and tariffs against large producers such as Imeriata.

Social Issues

The Alliance of Farmers, Fishers and Rurals have no positions on social matters, although, they mostly support the status quo. Alliance politicians have frequently gone on record that say everyone is welcome at the grill and have turned away foreign support from more bigoted groups.

Foreign Policy

Alliance of Farmers, Fishers and Rurals have said that they have an appreciation for certain aspects of the Republic of Breheim, however, they have also said that the Royal Navy should take a more proactive role in fending off potentially illegal activity from Breheimian fishing boats.

Alliance also support the establishment of a humanitarian zone in New Freedomstan, as the party claims that the chaos in the country has had a terrible impact on the trout market.
