Federal elections were held in East Besmenia on 6 September 1936 to elect the 211 members of the Federal Chamber and the 52 members of the Federal Senate. The Besmenian People's Party remained the largest party, winning 97 of the 211 seats in the Federal Chamber but lost his abslolute majority.
