The Acrean Armed Forces are the military forces of Acrea. The Acrean Armed Forces are the fourth largest military force by number of personnel in Tyran.
The history of the modern Acrean Armed Forces dates back to the founding of the Royal Acrean Army in 1543. Throughout its history, the Acrean military has been one of the largest standing military forces in the region, a necessity created by its incredibly close proximity and shared land borders with its main opponents, and the relative size of its near-peer adversaries.
Acrea is the largest producer of arms in Tyran, and its military surplus has been one of the most common sources of arms and ammunition being supplied and used by guerilla and irregular forces across the region in countries such as Nalaya and Mubata.
