Kenti Nyarza (15 April 1729 - 8 August 1790) was the last Grand Duke of Ja'ekha, ruling from 1745 until his death. He was a popular ruler and skilled military commander, and led his country to create closer ties with Trellin. He led a major land campaign during the War of the Velaran Succession, and on his death, having no heirs, left the grand duchy to Azara IV of Trellin.
Kenti never married and is not known to have fathered any children, legitimate or otherwise. This, coupled with some remarks including one before the Battle of the Fords of Flotir regarding rear assaults, have led some historians to argue that Kenti was homosexual, although mainstream historians reject this claim; some entirely, others regarding it as inconsequential.
