The Great Empire of Kandorith (Kandorese: 大香余李国; Dai Kanyori Teikoku(Kandorese: 香余李; Kanyori[kaɲyori]; formally 香余李国 "State of Kandorith") is a country in the South Pacific with a population of 2,4 billion.
The kada that make up Kandorith's name mean "Dragon nest", and it is often called the "Land of the Dragons". Kandorith is a stratovolcanic Peninsula consisting of numerous small islands next to the mainland. The four largest islands are Higashu, Kaimo, Yoriku, and Shikato, which make up about ten percent of Kandorith's land area and often are referred to as the main islands. The country is divided into 79 prefectures in fifteen regions, with Higaku being the northernmost prefecture and Shikato being the southernmost one. The population of 2,4 billion is one of the largest in the world, of which 98.5% are ethnic Kandorese. 90.7% of people live in cities, while 9.3% live in the countryside. About 266 million people live in Tenkyo, the capital of Kandorith. The Greater Tenkyo Area is a hugely populous metropolitan area with over 729 million inhabitants.
Archaeological research indicates that Kandorith was inhabited as early as the Upper Paleolithic period. The first written mention of Kandorith is in Yianese history texts from the 1st century AD. Influence from other regions, mainly Yiang, followed by periods of isolation, has characterized Kandorith's history.
From the 12th century until 1840, Kandorith was ruled by successive feudal military tenmei who ruled in the name of the Emperor. Kandorith entered into a long period of isolation in the early 17th century, which was ended in 1853 when the tenmei Saku Yoshihori urged the government to open up the trade. After nearly two decades of internal conflict and insurrection, the Imperial Court regained its political power in 1840 through the help of several clans from Kyosu and Saitema – and the Empire of Kandorith was established. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, victories in the First Meji-Kandorese War, the Tenkoku-Kandorese War allowed Kandorith to expand its empire during a period of increasing militarism. The Second Meji-Kandorese War of 1928 expanded into part of the Mei-Yiang war in 1929, which came to an end in 1931 following the Kandorese surrender leading to the Mei-Kan occupation of the country. Since adopting its revised constitution on 24 May 1964, during the occupation led by Xían, the sovereign state of Kandorith has maintained a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy with an Emperor and an elected legislature called the Imperial Delegate.
Kandorith benefits from a highly skilled and educated workforce; it has among the world's largest proportion of citizens holding a tertiary education degree. Kandorith maintains a modern military with a military budget of over 3,4 trillion and the current prime minister urging the government to allocate more of the government's budget to it, used for mostly self-defense and peacekeeping roles; Kandorith is a highly developed country with a very high standard of living and Human Development Index. Its population enjoys one of the highest life expectancy and lowest infant mortality rates in the world. Kandorith is renowned for its historical and extensive cinema, influential music industry, animation, video gaming, rich cuisine and its major contributions to science and modern technology.

Archaeological evidence suggests that early humans inhabited Kandorith between 250,000 and 2 million years ago. A cave in Junxin (near present-day Xiǎngzhóu) exhibits human fossils dated at between 680,000 and 780,000 BCE. The fossils are of Méngshi Man, an example of Homo erectus who used fire. The Méngshi Man site has also yielded remains of Homo sapiens dating back to 18,000–11,000 BC. Some scholars assert that a form of proto-writing existed in Kandorith as early as 6000 BC
According to Kandorese tradition, the first imperial dynasty was the Yatasei, which emerged around 6200 BC.] However, the dynasty was considered mythical by historians until scientific excavations found early Bronze Age sites at Longtiang, Shunjian in 1982. It remains unclear whether these sites are the remains of the Yatasai Dynasty or of another culture from the same period.
Early Dynastic rule
- Further information: Kandorese Dynasties
The first Kandorese dynasty that left historical records, the feudal Shao, settled around the Yiangxiao River in South-East Kandorith from around 2100 till 1600 BC. The bone script of the Xiá Dynasty represents the oldest Kandorese writing found as of yet, and is a direct ancestor of the modern Kandorese characters. The Xiá were conquered by the Jixí, who ruled between 1600 BC until 1000 BC, until it's central authority was thorn apart by feudal warlords. Many independent states emerged from the weakened Jixí Dynasty and continually waged war for 300 years, only occasionally appealing to the Jixí Kings. By the time of the Warring Empires era until 300 BC, there were nine powerful sovereign states in what is now considered to be Kandorith, each with their own monarch or warlord, ministry and national army.
Imperial Kandorith
The Warring Empires era ended in 120 BC, after the Yon Empire conquered the other eight kingdoms and established the first unified Kandorese state. Yon Xixi Shi, the Emperor of Yon, proclaimed himself the "First Emperor" and imposed great reforms throughout the nation, notably the standardization of the language, measurements, length of cart axles and the first Kandorese currency. The Yon Dynasty only lasted eleven years, falling soon after Yon Xixi Shi's death, as it's harsh legalist and authoritarian regime led to huge rebellions across the nation.
The replacement Wei Dynasty ruled Kandorith between 109 BC and the year 210, and creating a lasting Wei Cultural Identity among the population which has endured to the present day empire. The Wei Dynasty expanded the empire's territory considerably with constant military campaigns reaching many of it's neighbors, even oversea ones, like the Meisho Kingdoms and also helped establish a large trade route which was centralized in the capital of the Wei Dynasty, Xia. Wei Kandorith became a large economy of the ancient world. The Wei Dynasty adopted Shengxia Jiaoism, a philosophy and religion originating in the Warring Empires Era, as it's official state ideology. Despite the official abandonment of Legalism, the official legalist institutions and policies of the Yon Dynasty remained intact and formed the basis of the Wei government.
After the disastrous end of the Wei Dynasty, a period of extreme violence and disunity known as the period of the Three Empires Era followed. In 548 Kandorith was reunited under the Shengshia Dynasty. However, the Shengshia Dynasty fell after its defeat in the Tschingto-Shengshia War(592-614).
Under the succeeding Xixi and Yangtze dynasties, Kandorese technology and culture entered a golden age. The Láng Meng Rebellion in the 8th century devastated the country and completely weakened the dynasty. The Yangtze Dynasty was the first government in the region to issue paper money and the first Kandorese government to establish a permanent standing navy and army. Between the 10th and 11th centuries the population of Kandorith doubled in size to around 160 million people, mostly due to the expansion and better means of rice and grain cultivation in the central and southern plains of Kandorith, and the production of large food surpluses. The Yangtze Dynasty saw a complete revival of Shengxia Jiaoism, in response to the Daoism during the Xixi Dynasty.
The 13th century, saw a collapse of the Yangtze Dynasty because of foreign invaders from multiple neighboring nations. In 1230, The warlord Jun Nakamo established the Luo Dynasty; the Luo conquered the last remnant of the Yangtze in 1241. Before the Luo invasion, the population of Yangtze Kandorith was around 172 million people; this was reduced to 50 million by the time of the census in 1310. A peasant named Fei Daosheng overthrew the Luo Dynasty in 1360 and founded the Shao Dynasty. Under the Shou, Kandorith entered another golden age, developing a strong navy and a rich and prosperous economy amid a flourishing of art and culture. It was during this period explorers like Pó Léng led explorations throughout the world, reaching as far as today's Suceavija. In the early years of the Shao Dynasty, Kandorith's capital was moved from Xia to Xiǎngzhóu. During the Dynasty the further critiqued and redesigning towards greater individuality of the Shengxia Jiaoism philosophy.
Reformation Period
The reformation period began in the year 2017, where the Empire of Kandorith began opening up it's borders to international companies and slowly started to become a modern capitalistic state. The government believed Kandorith had to gradually drop the socialistic and communistic ideals, which remained largely in place after the communistic government collapsed in 1964. The original shift from Socialism started around the early 1990's, but the conservationist governments since then have remained from making large and lasting implementations of a new economic and governmental system. Early August 2017 however, Prime Minister Tou Shunjian announced the first wave of reformation politics. The first wave of reformation would focus on the economical system of Kandorith. Prime minister Shunjian's plans are to make Kandorith a modern, functioning and completely free market, while infrastructure, health-care and schools would still remain under government control, as would other companies the government deemed 'essential to service the people of the nation'

Located within the South-Western reaches of The Democratic Socialist Assembly the geography of the Kandorese Empire ranges from the majestic mountains of Surei to the Sub-tropical reaches of the Shojun Province. In every respect, every province has a unique geography and presents many challenges to the unity of the empire, despite centuries of tradition. The Empire holds over 10 million sq km of territory. To the East lies a vast wasteland and mostly unexplored teritory because of lack of interest. The coastline is littered with islands of varying sizes, ranging from those capable of sustaining large populations and others remaining as desolate outcrops of rocks, located here are Tenshi Island and the Meisho Province. In the North there's mostly vast mountain ranges where among the most extreme weather conditions can be found within the empire, The most desolate and unfriendly teritory within the empire remains the Jurei Province which mostly exists of a huge desert with temperatures reaching around 60 to 70 degrees Celsius during the daytime and around minus 20 at night.
The geography has conferred upon the Empire of Kandorith a unique position, in terms of its isolation, because of it's strange geographic locations, it is extremely difficult to enter Kandorith anywhere, apart from the coast and small forests, the Emperor calls the mountains, swamps and deserts Kandorith's 'Natural Soldiers' keeping the enemies out. Numerous attempts to create land roads across the mountains yielded some progress in the later centuries, but by and large, naval travel remained till around the year 1300 (Kandorese Calendar) and mostly still remains the surest method of transportation to Kandorith - beyond aerial travel. Because of this most of the Kandorese military attention is devoted to naval and aerial abilities and strike forces. Yet lately Kandorith has also been boosting a large land military force because of the advances in technology, making it able to construct roads over, trough and even under the mountains and deserts, still till today because of culture most Kandorese people view all lands bordering Kandorith as either barbarian civilizations or wastelands.

- Main article: Government of Kandorith
The Government of the Kandorese Empire is structured around an imperial regent, who governs the state under the constitution and sharing powers with the democratically elected parliament. The Emperor serves both as head of the Imperial Mandate (Legislative Institution of Kandorith) and as Head of the State. The Imperial Regency possesses all of the powers typically isolated in other more democratic institutions. In this manner, the Emperor serves as the legislative, the executive, and the judicial head of the government. However, because of the Kandorese 1st Law the Emperor needs to consult Parliament to use this power. Without acknowledgement of Parliament, the Emperor has no power. The Sakuei - which is composed of around 500 ministers - draws laws to petition the Emperor for Imperial concern and redress. These laws and concerns mostly come forth from local governments and their representatives they have enough political and social knowledge, that the Emperor does not typically ignore petitions made by the Imperial Mandate. Each province also has its own Local Assembly, which deals specifically with the needs of the individual province, which should then be presented to the Imperial Mandate and eventually the Emperor before the law is issued.
Imperial Mandate
The Executive Powers are represented in the Imperial Cabinet, called the Imperial Mandate - which is composed of the Emperor himself, the Prime Minister, the Principal Ministers, Sub-Principal Ministers and the Governors of the Provinces in case of colonies, a representative is elected to represent the colony in the Imperial Cabinet). Not all of the members of the Imperial Mandate, only the Governors, representatives and the Prime Minister are popularly elected by the people - the Ministers are appointed by the Imperial Mandate itself, then checked by the Emperor and acknowledged. As every person has an equal vote (including the Emperor, who reserves his vote typically as the tiebreaker by tradition and custom), the executive power of the Empire is much more democratic than it seems.
The judicial power is divided among popularly elected judges, which receive their authority from Imperial confirmation by the Emperor. In the lower ranks, the mayors and prefects serve as the judges for their respective districts. Although the Emperor reserves the right to exercise the final judgment on any particular matter, which must be appealed by dissatisfied claimants through the judicial ranks system, in practice decisions seldom go beyond their point of origin, owing to the cost of pursuing further appeals and the general trend that lower court decisions are upheld by the higher courts. Any person is capable of participating in the Imperial Government if he/she/it has successfully passed through very strict examinations, successful completion of the required stages of the examinations are necessary for official participation and promotion within the Imperial Government, although apprenticeship is also authorized for students preparing for the examination and further study in the government. In this manner, the Imperial Government maintains some opportunity to all citizens of the Empire.

With over 40 million active troops, the Imperial Kandorese Armed Forces (IKAF) is a vastly huge standing military force, commanded by the Imperial Military Commission (IMC) and Defense Minister Hue-ge Tasho. The IKAF consists of the Imperial Kandorese Ground Force (IKGF), the Imperial Kandorese Navy (IKN), the Imperial Kandorese Air Force (IKAF), Imperial Kandorese Armour Corps (IKAC), Imperial Kandorese Marine Corps (IKMC) and the Imperial Kandorese Special Forces (IKSF). The official announced budget of the IKAF for 2011 was ௫15 trillion However, The Kandorese government has already announced to increase this budget drastically. This because of international threats and peace missions, Kandorith is currently engaged in.
Incidentally, the Empire has seldom seen conflict with other countries, preferring a non-belligerent policy of protectionism, as declared by Emperor Aisho. The military tradition of the Empire of Kandorith follows the studies declared by ancient Warlords, Hamuge and Yamurai centuries before the foundation of the Empire as a whole. - such as Sai Makurete's Provincional Warfare and Seo Tsuke's Arts of Warfare'. According to the citizenship duties, all citizens are required by mandate to contribute a minimum of two years to serve in the Imperial Armed Forces, regardless of gender. Most citizens opt to serve in the forces, although a number of others opt to work in defense-related industries and services; the law is very free as in how to fulfill the Armed Forces Requirement, to allow all persons to serve in what capacity is available to them.
The IKAF has made significant progress in modernizing its military since the early 2000's. It has developed state-of-the-art fighter jets, such as the Sakura F1M and the Sateio E13A. The IKAF's ground forces have also undergone significant modernization, replacing its ageing last millennium tank inventory with numerous variants of the modern Type Sú tank, and upgrading its battlefield C3I systems to enhance its network-centric warfare capabilities. Kandorith has also improved M-300 surface-to-air missile system, which is considered to be among the most effective aircraft-intercepting systems. A number of indigenous missile technologies have also been developed - earlier this year, Kandorith conducted a successful test of an anti-satellite missile, and its first indigenous land-attack cruise missile, the CJ-10, entered service in 2009. In 2011, also reported was that Kandorith was believed to be testing the LU-2 missile, a new submarine-launched nuclear ICBM with multiple-warhead delivery capabilities. The Kandorese Navy has always caught much attention, because of it's vastness and modern technology. It has been reported Kandorith is able to completely clean sweep a small to medium sized shore nation with only it's main naval strike force, most notable for the Yatoga Class Battleship and the Yamarasu Class Aircraft Carriers.
Economy
The Economy of Kandorith is a powerhouse of technologically advanced businesses, trade centers and research centers. Dominated by technology driven industries - such as IT and electronics industries. Much of the economy is also service-driven, such as retail and hospitality. The Empire also holds a very competitive construction industry, as well as diverse primary industries and secondary industries. Much of the success for the Kandorese economy has been a centrally driven economic force that has served the Empire for years now, in 'home-made products' This model is quite baffling and it remains uncertain how it exactly functions still. Nonetheless, the Empire's is also very intelligence and knowledge-driven, with its heavy emphasis on education and apprenticeship through the Examination structures of schools.
The economy is monitored chiefly by the Imperial Kandorese Economical Institute, which brings together the economic executives of the Empire and the officially recognized Imperial construction managers. This body combines the interests of the state and the various multinational leaders to devise economic policies that benefit the Imperial state while allowing businesses to grow. The IKEC also allows the Empire to manage its financial affairs, as well as determine the economic health of the state.

Demographics
- Main article: Demographics of Kandorith
The total population of the Kandorese Empire at the last census was just over 4 billion people. A growing majority of the population are living in urban centers, while some live in rural areas still. Notable metropolitan centers include Xiǎngzhóu, Tǎngzímĕng, Qiāotoú, Hujíajíng, and Mǎzháng. While many people believe that natives of the Kandorese Empire are ethnically homogeneous, the diversity of culture and races in the Empire suggests otherwise. In all, the Empire possesses at least 5 significantly distinct ethnic groups within the Empire. Complicating this fact is the general "Kandorese" term applied to citizens of the Empire - that by being a citizenship, one renounces one's tribal ancestry and claims devotion to the state. For this reason, tracing the full lineage of the many ethnic groups in the Empire has become increasingly difficult, especially as inter-marriage becomes more common. Fortunately, devotion to family has helped retain some of the history of many genealogies, but it still remains a daunting task to identify so many people, yet those that descent from the 'true' families of Kandorith are considered to be either Wei Kandorese or Yataha Kandorese.

Culture
Since ancient times, Kandorese culture has been heavily influenced by Kento and conservative philosophies. For centuries, opportunities for social advancement could be provided by high performance in the prestigious Imperial examinations, which were instituted in 605 AD to help the Emperor select skilful bureaucrats. The literary emphasis of the exams affected the general perception of cultural refinement in Kandorith, such as the belief that calligraphy and literati painting were higher forms of art than dancing or drama. A number of more authoritarian and rational strains of thought were also influential, with Legalism being a prominent example. There was often conflict between the philosophies – for instance, the individualistic Mei Dynasty believed that Legalism departed from the original spirit of Kento. Examinations and a culture of merit remain greatly valued in Kandorith today. In recent years, a number of New Kentoists have claimed that modern democratic ideals and human rights are compatible with traditional Kento values. The first leaders of the new Empire of Kandorith were born into the traditional imperial order, but were influenced by the government reforms. They sought to change some traditional aspects of Kandorese culture, such as rural land tenure, sexism, and the Kento system of education, while preserving others, such as the family structure and culture of obedience to the state. Some observers see the period following the establishment of the new Kandorese Empire as a continuation of traditional Kandorese dynastic history, while others claim that the Liberal Party's rule has damaged the foundations of Kandorese culture. The culture of the Kandorese people is unique to say the least, they are a traditional isolationalistic folk which prefers anything from Kandorese soil above all. From early times the Kandorese have been a dominating and expansionistic collection of people that eventually turned into an empire by merging multiple kingdoms and provinces. The history of the Kandorese culture is painted with five very distinct things; Jìgǔ, Hamuge, Yamorai, Kento and the Imperial Family.

Kandorith has a sporting culture dating back to the early days of the first Kandorese Empire. There is evidence that archery and martial arts were practiced during the Xiá Dynasty. Swordfighting and a form of football (Cìshí) date back to Kandorith's early dynasties as well. Today, some of the most popular sports in the nation include Martial arts, basketball, football, table tennis, badminton, swimming and rugby. Board games such as Gan, Xiangqi, and more recent chess, are also played at professional levels.
Physical fitness is widely emphasized within the Kandorese culture, with morning exercises such as weiqin commonly practiced, and commercial gyms and fitness clubs gaining nationwide popularity in recent years. Young people in Kandorith also enjoy football and basketball, especially in the larger cities with limited space and large sport parks. The [[Kandorese Football Association] has a huge following among the people of Kandorith.
