The Imperial University in Carigrad (Serbian: Carsko sveučilište u Carigradu, Mazurian: Cesarski Uniwersytet w Carigradzie) is the largest and oldest institution of higher education in Nikolia. It was founded in 1386 by a decree of Tsar Miroslav I Stefanović, who asked Archbishop Ignatius II, Metropolitan of Carigrad to do so. Archbishop Ignatius II has issued a bull founding the Carigrad academia with the four faculties: Faculties of Arts, Theology, Law and Medicine.
