The Surgarten-class cruiser, sometimes referred to in foreign literature as the S-class, was a class of light cruisers of the Englean Imperial Navy. The class was designed to supplement the limited number of Bischofzach class cruisers currently in service with the Imperial Navy, and was to be more heavily armed to compete with foreign vessels at the time. The vessels served with the Englean Atlantikflotte and the Pazifikflotte against the Empire of the Tao during the Second Great War.
