Jeanne Dupuis-Soumaila (born 16 April 1993), better known under the stage name Djeïne, is a Mabifian-Gaullican musician and singer-songwriter. Her debut album Venez was released in 2012 and was an instant success. She has since released 3 more albums, as well as numerous eps and singles. A controversial figure within the musical world, Djeïne's lyrics often discuss the strugges of the Bahian diaspora in Gaullica and other Euclean countries in a raw and sometimes violent manner. She has been accused of historical revisionism and even faced criminal proceedings for disturbances of the peace surrounding her concerts.
