Mysia elects one Vardanan director in Class 1 elections. Five individuals have represented the Commonwealth of Mysia since 1985 and the Constitution of the Third Republic came into effect. Two directors from Mysia have served as First Secretary of State, the most of any province. A limit of three terms was instituted by the provincial government in 1999. Its current director Lucine Argutian has served since 20 July 2017. She succeeded David Mardas.
