The coat of arms of the Aurora Islands (Auroran Annic: Kuovskâssuollui vaakun; Weranian: Wappen der Nordlichterinseln) has a greater and a lesser version.

Meaning

The Aurora Islander coat of arms is an imperfect impalement of a blue field with white arctic starflowers (Azure, semé-de-trientales argent) and the coat of arms of the House of Kotzauberg.

  • The bluefield (Azure) represents the North Sea region and the arctic starflower (Lysimachia eucloea) is the symbol of the islands and is used to represent peoples of the islands all of whom arrived from North Euclea where the flowers are common.
  • The arms of the House of Kotzauberg have been imperfectly impaled on the sinister side to represent the ruling family and the Grand Duchy of Roetenberg. Because the Vert and cresset are fitted into a quarter, the sinister impalement is imperfect.
