The Breheimian General Elections of 2017 saw the elections of the People's Assembly and the National Assembly in February, as well as the Presidential Elections in December. The elections were marked by the rise of the Republican Party of Breheim, and the fall of the Socialist Worker's Party to third position. The Popular Representation Bill that had passed in 2016 meant that the former electoral threshold for the National Assembly had been replaced with pure, nation-wide, proportionality, which meant that four new parties entered the National Assembly.
