The World AutoSport Challenge (stylized as WASC) is a grand touring car racing series that began in 2018. The World AutoSport Challenge is an adaption of the Sizhouan AutoSport Championship (Sìzhōu Qìchē Yùndòng Jǐnbiāosài, 四州汽车运动锦标赛) referred to as the SQY Championship, renamed in 2018 after a January 2017 Sizhouan National People's Assembly vote to introduce the first international racing championship in it's class.

Cars
Cars are divided into two categories: Sizhouan Grand Touring Pro and Amateur (SGT PRO-AM)and Sizhouan Prototype (SPT). Both categories race in separate classes on the track with their own championship and team leaderboards and have entirely separate sets of manufacturing specifications that cars must be built according to.
In both groups, one car and number is assigned per team, in which each team is allowed to choose whichever whole number between 00 and 99 they desire so long as it has not been chosen, including by another class. Specifications for both classes also require an electrical hybrid system utilizing flywheel generators under breaking and a lithium-ion recharging battery. This system is balanced per-car to ensure a competitive racing field
For quick identification while driving, SPT cars are signified by RED LED lights on their rear bumper, number panels, and RED headlights. While SGT cars are signified with WHITE lights.
Sizhouan Grand Touring Cars
The Sizhouan Grand Touring Cars are a group having an aptitude for sport with 2 doors, 2 or 2+2 seats, and can be legally street operated in their home country. The base model of the SGT must be mass produced and sold as determined by the SRA general committee, using stats provided by a manufacturer's country of origin. Cars all have a similar power to weight ratio, achieved by a combination or low weight and low horsepower or high weight and high horsepower.
