"Advance Zanarkand Fair" is the national anthem of Zanarkand and the Besaid Islands. Created by the Nihonjin-born composer Mikihasa Komaki, the song was first performed in 1878, and was sung in Zanarkand as a patriotic song. It replaced "God Save the King". It did not gain its status as the official anthem until 1914, following a plebiscite to choose the national song in 1907. Other songs and marches have been influenced by "Advance Zanarkand Fair", such as the Zanarkand vice-regal salute.

- Verse 1
- Zanarkians all let us rejoice,
- For we are young and free;
- We've golden soil and wealth for toil;
- Our home is girt by sea;
- Our land abounds in nature's gifts
- Of beauty rich and rare;
- In history's page, let every stage
- Advance Zanarkand Fair.
- In joyful strains then let us sing,
- Advance Zanarkand Fair.
