The 1925 Central Shaneville Presidential election was held on the 17 July 1925 and was the first ever re-election in Central Shaneville after then incumbent president William Mackenzie agreed to a senate vote on whether or not there should be a re-election due to the fact that no majority was formed during the 1924 election.
During the campaign, The Progressive Party makes a Coalition with the Conservatives with William Mackenzie as it's leader and Jean Andre as its deputy meaning the total number of seats the two parties get will be added together forming the number of seats they will have, the Progressive party as head of the coalition would take the presidency however if anything were to happen to Mackenzie then Andre would take the leader status until the next election.
The Conservatives win control of the coalition and parliament after beating their fellow coalition party: the Progressive party meaning Jean Andre became the 4th president of Central Shaneville, for Mackenzie the re-election was a disaster as his coalition idea had backfired on him as he was now "deputy leader" of the coalition and no longer president.
In an interesting turn of events during the election, the Progressive Party came 2nd in the Popular vote but last in overall seats.
