The Realm Cabinet is exclusively accountable to a two-party sub-chamber of the Diet, leading to governments consistently being minority governments. The Erishlands are an asymmetric federation, wherein the 20 Lands and the Shire of Fjørjborg (states) are co-sovereign with the Realm (the federal government), but Førjborg has less autonomy.
