Class 4700 was a 4-8-4 steam locomotive built by Ku-ngwyan Locomotive Works for Themiclesian & Great Northwestern and National Rail between 1944 and 1956 and thereby operated until 1968. The equivalent class operated by National Railways is C450, though it is colloquially referred to as 4700 as well due to the greater numbers owned by T&GNW. They were intended to haul express passenger and freight trains but also were prominently used during the Pan-Septentrion War to service both Hallian and Themiclesian forces in Hemithea, running as far as western Menghe and eastern Maverica.
