Pich’ Yak Koj (born in 1846, died in 1928), princess of the Mutul, was the second daughter of B'alijaj Chan K'awiil II and his third children. Longest living of her relative, she was the "face" of the Ilok'tab Dynasty, with a career in public relations that began as early as 1871 with her first position as Public Speaker for her family, then for the Divine Throne, before becoming Josanek in 1881. A trusted advisor to her father, she became known as the main opposition to the "war faction", the politicians and ministers who promoted the Arm Race with Belfras and opposed the formation of this Federation of ancient Latin colonies. She was maintained in her position even after the death of B'alijaj Chan K'awiil II by her niece, Sak K'uk II. But when the Belfro-Mutulese war of 1911 was declared, she stepped down from her position and was instead made ambassador to Sante Reze where she would remain for the rest of the war, negociating the supplies for the war effort and trying to win the Noble Houses to the Mutul' cause.
Her reputation as a "Dove" had been well established, to the point that she was welcomed to the Latium as once again an ambassador for her niece, where she tried to amend some of the damages caused by the creation of Belfras, the Arm Race, and the war to the relations between the two countries. However, her declining health forced her to return to the Mutul, where she rejoined with her son the Yajaw of Mamkab' who made her one his official advisors and Halak Winik of Xanabahul as well, a position she would retain until her death in 1928.
