The Brindisi-class was the first class of light cruisers built for the Cacertian Royal Navy in the aftermath of the Divide War and subsequent reevaluation of Cacertian naval doctrine. They were designed specifically as a class of protection cruiser that would work with lighter destroyers to screen fleet elements and perform reconnaissance.
