Early Life
Louis Quevillon was born on May 6, 1831 in Wôlinak, Pais-de-Vignobles. He was the only son of the Chenique Jacques Quévillon and the Alnobak Orono Quévillon. As a child Louis was studious and had a huge interest in beetles. When Louis was 5, Jacques and Orono moved to Ville de Amiens for Jacques to take a job in steelwork. Louis would often accompany Jacques when he went to work as a steelworker despite the danger.
Louis attended college at Penobscot University, where he completed a degree in Chenique Law. He remarked in his later life that his time would have been better spent looking for beetle dung over acquiring his degree. When he left college, he returned to Ville de Amiens and worked for the Amiens Coastal Steelworks as a logistics administrator in transporting raw materials from Sainte Josephine, a hub of mining villages.
