Ville de Amiens
Ville de Amiens is the largest city in the State of Amiens and the seat of the state government. According to the 2020 census, Ville de Amiens had a population of 421,630 people, making it the fourth largest city in Chenes. Ville de Amiens is geographically located on the southeast part of Amiens, alongside the coastline to the Thalassian Sea. It constitutes the demographic center of the Amiens metropolitan area. It is significant in its historic role in the railroad industry and its center location for the Chenique Coal Rush and Chenique Metal Rush. Ville de Amiens has, since the 1950s, reorientated its economy towards new industries. In 2001, Ville de Amiens has since attempted to reorient the local economy towards newer technological industries and redeveloping older areas for commercial purposes.
Ville de Amiens is comprised of four different counties that are part of the State of Amiens: Menilmontant County, Mont-Valérien County, Opéra County, and Anticosti County.
