Background

Following the coup by Hereward the Woke in Greater Thamesholm and the acceptance of neighbouring Westmonkwick into the Order of Traditionalist Realms, the leader of the Han Caliphate, Suleiman III announced that Hereward was planning to attack the Order.

Overview The conflict lead to Westmonkwick’ air strike of Greater Wallborough and internment of left-wing people as well as the prohibition on LGBTQIA+ people joining the Westmonkwick military.

It also lead to national service programmes in the Turkmen Emirate, Denmark and Westmonkwick.

Two Westmonkwicker spies were captured and sent to prison awaiting trial, after a secretive trial they were executed by firing squad. This all happened in the 7th of March 2022.

The Turkmen Emirate and Westmonkwick blockaded Thamesholm.

Political positions

Both political parties in the Turkmen Emirate support the war as do both major political parties in Westmonkwick. In the Beylik of Scandinavia, right-wing parties support the war but left-wing parties oppose it. Conscription is opposed apart from by one centrist party.
