The Asakaze-class is a class of guided missile destroyers built for the Republic of Dayashina Navy. Six ships were built in the class; however, four have since been retired as Dayashina moves to fully standardise Suijin-equipped guided missile destroyers. It is the first of the RDN's destroyers to feature gas turbine propulsion, with Glasic-made engines. It has retroactively been fitted for a general purpose role.
