The Areiva Gorgona is an unguided air to ground rocket designed by Areiva of Temuair and is the primary air to ground rocket of the Imperial Air Force of Temuair since its adoption in the 1980's, replacing the Areiva CAAD rockets, which had been in service since 1952.

History and design

Gorgona rockets are launched from a variety of pods housing from either six or twelve rockets. The rocket can mount one of two high explosive anti-tank warheads, either the FO-191ATE which can penetrate 35 cm (14 in) of armor, or the FO-087ATE, capable of penetrating 45 cm (18 in) of armor.
