The Vaccari Gorgon is an unguided air to ground rocket designed by Vaccari of Luminerra and is the primary air to ground rocket of the Lumenic Air Force since its adoption in the 1990's, replacing the Notreceauen SNEB rocket pod adopted in the 1960s. In Lumenic service, the system is designated the AAR-93, though the individual rockets have designations not covered under the 1995 Common Designation System.

History and design

Gorgon rockets are launched from a variety of pods housing from either six or twelve rockets. The rocket can mount one of two high explosive anti-tank warheads, either the TR.191AAPE which can penetrate 35 cm (14 in) of armor, or the TR.087AAPE, capable of penetrating 45 cm (18 in) of armor.
