The death of Andesen I's father, Ejek, sent the young king into a downwards spiral. Early in his childhood, Andesen I would develop issues related to trust, abandonment and anxiety. By the time Andesen I was old enough to rule his mother had passed away as well, causing his anxiety to worsen. If it weren't for the nobles that had been gifted with positions of power by his father, Andesen I likely would've succumbed to the pressure. However, the Stonish nobility began to involve themselves in the affairs of Flatstones royal family, or what was left of it at least. Old friends of Ejek turned into advisors of Andesen I until the king was deemed old enough to rule on his own. In 1302, Andesen I turned 17 and succeeded to the throne, replacing the group of nobles that had collectively assumed leadership of the nation.

Invasion of Hoterallia

One of Andesen I Von Stones most notable actions was his unsuccessful invasion of Hoterallia from 1327-1334. He would die twenty years later, leaving the throne in the hands of his son, Pejdeson Von Stone.
