His support for the establishment of factories in Vinalia, run by wealthy capitalists gained opposition starting the Social Front. Democratic supporters joined the Anti-Chornovil movement which opposed the increase of Gowsa workers in Vinalia. Won re-election in 1867. Helped to start Vinalian industrialization although faced considerable backlash towards the end of his term, for his opposition to social reforms in Misto Myru.
