Necrocracy is a form of government which a person who is deceased, usually a past monarch, still holds a position of power in the nation which they once ruled. This often comes in the form of the necrocratic leader holding the position of {{wp|Head of State}} or a symbolistic role.

He acts as their head of state but is more of a ceremonial role with the people of Namdatka being afraid to overthrow his position as it is believed in their religion that he is the direct descendent of a goddess.
