CBU-250 bombs on a x3 standard fighter pylon

The CB Bomb Family (Common Bomb) is a series of standardized bombs in use by various military forces of Inyursta.

Overview

Development of the CB bomb family came as an attempt to standardize and create a uniform "flow chart" of domestically-produced bombs that could be modified to meet the needs of any combat situation. Modifications include precision guidance packages, "BG", penetration charge devices, "PB", add-on rocket motors, "R", and in some cases glide bomb, "GB".

Most bombs come in the 250lb (typically 3 bombs per hard-point), 500lb, 1000lb, and 2000lb class. Some special cases come in 1500lb or 750lb weight classes.
