The Cuprasi-class was a series of heavy cruisers built by the Republic of Syara. The final heavy cruiser built for the Navy of the Syaran Republic, it was intended to bridge the Cruiser Race with the Cacertian Empire. It was the last ship designed before the outbreak of the Siduri War, and only two ships (Radiant Star and Abiding Disciple) out of an intended 10 were ever completed.
Neither ship was ready by the time the Siduri War started. Radiant Star was finished in October 1934 and Abiding Disciple was completed in June 1935. Both served as convoy raiders and escorts for most of the war, with Radiant Star sinking more than a dozen Common Axis aligned transports and escorts between 1935-1937. Abiding Disciple primary served in the Sundering Sea Campaign and occasionally raided into the Bara Sea. Neither ship survived the war; Radiant Star was sunk by bombers off the coast of Mansuriyyah in August 1937 and Abiding Disciple was sunk in the Nuadan Ocean in November the same year.
