Queen Snow de Winter, simply known as Snow, is the queen of Silverdale and a famous guardian and oracle of winter itself. Snow is the daughter of the Fairy Pony to Queen Aurora and the cold spirit mage Archon Australis, and a known individual who lived through many eras across Silverdale's history. One of the significant is her pivotal role against the demonic hordes and healing the land from vile inflictions. When Silverdale was formed, Snow focused on the mantle as a protector in the south pole and had many deals to help many penguin rookies and other arctic-to-sea communities. When Aurora disappeared on June 25 of 1928, Snow received her final revelation of the divine future and a gift of winter itself to become an ice-living body. It was said she became ashamed of it after her servants ran off, and secluded herself for most of a century.
During this time Snow combated the horrors of Garyx at the south pole alone and became an urban rumor of a mysterious pony. Snow later revealed herself in the 10s when she reached out to the First Order and met a legendary band of heroes. Since then, Snow was reinstalled as a queen with her wife by the people and now holds sovereignty as both a divine goddess of winter, ruler of Silverdale, and mantle of the spiritual realm.
Biography
Early Life
Snow’s early life is shrouded with contradictions and tales. Based on records from local people, the Golden Herd, and folklore, it is determined that Snow was born in the aftermath of the Great Ruin in the 900s. Another theory pointed to Snow’s birth amid the era when grand civilizations of gold existed around 500 in the rural winter of Glacier Mane. While the exact place is undetermined, the popular belief is at Archon Glaciar where she was born under the travel circle of Aurora and Archon Australis. One out of love and enlightenment to a pony spirit mage itself. It is believed in her early life was a nomad with her family across Silverdale, and said to be raised with Avala herself.
The exact records of Snow's childhood are unknown. She was known as the winter mare who appeared in blizzards to heal people. Others in the Golden Herd in Silverdale and other regions put the outlandish as a figure of a mystery cult of the “Snow Mare.” Known as the healer, mother of brave warriors, and caretaker of the village of Nivalis. In one blizzard night, Snow vanished from her previous identity with regret.
Early Silverdale
It is believed that the ‘vanish’ followed in the great ruin when Vendral caused a rampage, and a dangerous plague reached Silverdale that caused Snow to follow it. In this time before the formation of Silverdale, her records as the Oracle of Winter and the healer spoke more often as a daughter who traveled with her mother, and later with other people. When the demonic invasion came, Snow played a part in the role to aid to cure the plague known as the Vendral’s Curse and pushed back the tide of monsters across Silverdale. As one of a divination and healer, her visions were pivotal in battles, while as a healer she trained a whole medical corp to continue to restore people in aid.
At the near end of the crusade at the battle of Silver Polis, Snow confronted a dangerous pair of dragons known as the Daughters of Vendral, Enda, and Vupur. The two dragons suffered grave injures from abuse as demon engines of war. Snow rescued them from their tormented state and later healed them. Despite their nature, Snow offered them to live peacefully beside her. After the end of the war, Snow became the crown princess of Silverdale when her mother ascended into position as queen.
Princess of Silverdale
When Snow became the princess, she found herself tasked to handle much integration into diplomatic affairs of the tundra, rookies, and the spirits of nature. As such, she ordered the construction of her Frozen Palace by Lady Jingle to be within the state of Ice Haven. In these quests, Snow was able to unite many people to the lands of the Penguins themselves into the realm itself.
One of Princess Snow’s famous involvements was the King Charlatan dilemma around the time of the Imperial War where she was aided by a group of heroes from Dyste to quell a wrathful Garyx Cultist and build relationships with the king’s retinue. It was also where she was involved to help Prince Edgar and Raynebow to traverse across the increase of frost in the land, to the South Pole to confront the king himself. It took great effort to melt away the wrathful nature of Charlatan, which took the cost of Edgar being frozen by his power to release what he did. Snow then unfrosted Edgar, and the two convince him to go into a path of atonement and end the great Everwinter plot.
Disappearance
On June 25 of 1928, Princess Snow was in a deep slumber within her ice palace amid Antarctica where she underwent the final metamorphosis to unlock the mysterious element of ice and winter itself. This transformed her flesh into a living state of ice and freed her from her dependency on air. However, when her servants found her, the unbreathing frozen body caused panic and many ran away. All with the awakening of Snow to witness it and realize she is no longer herself. Furthermore, given the vision of prophecy of a dark future and the news of her mother, she vows to seclude herself from the world to find her and move the palace to increase monstrous activity.
Her activity, from Princess Snow's account, was to halt the monsters and face Garyx alone. From Snow’s fear, hate, and regrets manifested by the goddess to great a dark self, which Snow had to combat. She was victorious but her other self vanished. Ever since then, she made an oath to herself to protect Silverdale from Garyx, her monsters, and beyond at the cost of being isolated with a few followers. For almost a century she continued this and healed any beings she came across. A few encounters of legend spoke of her copulation with lost travelers and others who met her in the middle of a blizzard. What is true is that in the year before she revealed herself, she mated with an unknown suitor and bore sextuplets
Reveal from Seclusion
In the mid 2010s (or proximity 2017), Snow foresaw a grave future and the potential heroes to face it. Hence she reached out to a band of heroes who were enlisted in the First Order of Mystic Guardians, Glacia Invernos, Rosario Caivano, Stacey, Shield Lightborne, Ume Umunera, and Devora Iliskreft. All to arrive at an igloo village where her ice castle teleported within a glacier, and reprise her from a demonic assault. As the future itself was threatened by great destruction by Garyx and the Demon Lord Blossos, she called out for them to help and as a mark to end Snow’s seclusion. As such, as she knighted Glacia as a personal guard, she revealed herself to the world and aided them in their series of campaigns across different realms.
The nation of Silverdale was both joyful and in awe of the sudden transformation. As if it was a literal ice statue brought forth in the shape of Snow herself. Yet as she was alive, she found herself in a strange new world of a republic. As time passed by, Snow opened a part of herself that was denied either by the shame of her family’s craves, to be a part of a new mother in the Life Society with her new friends. As the transformation occurred at this time, the dark past of Frozen Heart alongside Fimbulvetr returned to cause trouble, as Snow revealed this to her friends, which were later joined by Yuki Iceheart, Memphis, Kyara Cavil, Ivrea Snowtear, and Talva Loveheart, of the truth. She was afraid that it’ll give them to become more emboldened, or desperate, to abandon all to save her mother who was imprisoned by Garyx in her prison.
This, however, was not the case, as they helped her. Later, once Snow and the team joined together to traverse into the south pole and use her home in a pocket dimension, went to face Garyx herself. Snow and the team battled against not only the hordes of the ice monsters but also passed through the gate itself and met unspeakable horrors and dangerous deities. One that was locked away with Garyx of the vile ocean deity, and the lord of decay Fellmoore. She and Glacia later fused with the group to combat and destroy not only Frozen Heart but Also Garyx physical form as well. With that, the group liberated Aurora from her imprisonment.
Snow then later joins the heroes to face down Blossos once and for all within a divinely crafted spaceship into hell space of hell itself. All too brave against the horrors within the Dark Moon as Icestorm, and were aided by the likes of Constance Snowtear, Brasa, and Mars. In this mission, they discover the truth within the palace of Blossos’ secret chamber of a simple Silverdalean home: one of the mother of Shield Lightborne. One who sacrificed and damned her soul to a demon to save her daughter. This price led Blossos into a demonic monster that threatened to destroy Silverdale as a whole for a chaotic revolution. One that Snow and the heroes ended before a new demonic invasion occurred. As the threat ended, Snow faced a new challenge of the future ahead.
Queenship
In the aftermath, Snow went into the heavens by the great roots of the world tree and is believed to ascend into divinity alongside the elven goddess Nelvana, and the new deities. Yet the unanswered question came with the throne, as congress put a vote on it. As Snow knew this needed to be answered, and witnessed the terrors and events of the Catedonia Crisis, she and her new beloved Talva took the step to prove themselves to the people and the divine. As she passed the trials of the deities and spoke earnestly, the congress voted to reinstall Snow alongside her wife Talva as duel queens of Silverdale.
