They ended up with the name "Marley Sharks" and joined the first ever league alongside [[Szawende FC|Szawende Lions]], [[AFC Portland]], [[Minszes Town FC]], Darija Zebras and Ilmantas FC. Marley Hill FC was created by 3 businessmen in 1923, who were trying to create a football team that could symbolize Marley. They ended up with the name "Marley Sharks" and joined the first ever league alongside Szawende Lions, AFC Portland, Minszes Town FC, Darija Zebras and Ilmantas FC.
