The University of Arbolada was originally founded in 1599 as the College of San Felix, which was originally administrated by the Solarian Catholic Church and served as a seminary for potential Paretian Catholic missionaries. In addition to its Brisamonte campus, the University of Arbolada has several other campuses spread throughout the nation.
In Ponto Solar itself, there is a campus located in the downtown portion of the city, and is partnered with local colleges such as the Ponto Solar Metropolitan College.
Outside of Ponto Solar, there are campuses in Porto Andrés, Florestas Verdes, Forte João, Laranjal, Calusa, and Cabo Irmão. In addition to having standard classes at these campuses, the institution offers a number of fully online degree programs through UA Online.
UA, in partnership with colleges, participates in a program called Pylon. Through this program, all students and alumni of colleges such as the Ponto Solar Metropolitan College are assured admission to UA, though not necessarily to academic programs within UA colleges.
