The Nelbec Council is an international organization that facilitates cooperation between the Nelbec countries of Alquiya, Lormotia and Seketan. The Seketese province of Wilskland has its own membership.
In the aftermath of the 1981 Alquiyan-Seketese crisis, the Treaty of Joghen in 1981–under the supervision of Council of Europe and United Nations Department for Peacekeeping Operations–laid the foundations of normalizing relations between Alquiya and Seketan. Spearheaded by Lormotian prime minister Mayen Deszez, the Treat of Vlyade established the Nelbec Council the following year with the stated purpose of preventing military conflict and facilitating cooperation.
The Nelbec Council is made up of 57 representatives that meet quarterly. The four official and working languages are Alquiyan, Lormotian, Seketese, and Wilsk. The organization is engaged in election monitoring.
