The political parties of Cordomonivence are based on the right to free creation and association of legal political parties stipulated by the Political Constitution of 1948. Under a multiparty system, for a party to be part of the upper or lower house, it must be considered 96 legal and receive at least 4% of votes to get seats. Although Cordomonivence is officially a state that allows free participation and voting for any party, the dominant party has been the Sozialdemokratische Partei des Corshvek Volkes since 2011, winning all the presidential elections and winning the majority of seats in the upper and lower house.
