The Solarius Empire (Solaren: Imperium Solarium) was an Imperium during the 18th to 22nd Centuries in Galactic Date Calendrer. It was formed after Rais XIII suddenly died, leaving the throne to the ambitious Jae-Seo VI who declared the Kingdom an Empire on the day of his crowning. It included the areas of modern-day Nova Solarius.
The Imperium was founded on 25 January 1773, when the Senate approved of the new Constitution that declared the formation of the Imperium of Solarius. It was led under the Celestia Dynasty by Emperor Jae-Seo VI. It became a Regional Power in the centuries that followed. It exerted its influence all over the World and promoted Solarian ideals and institutions. Religion in the Imperium was becoming less popular by the new generation, as Secularism became to be more popular and was made the official co-religion in the Imperium in 1795.
This was during the Modern Period of Solarius, with more democratic ideals surfacing, with the Senate having political power that was shared with the Emperor. During this period, technological advancements happened, with the invention of the camera, the telephone & cellphone, and the steam engine. After 1795, the Imperium started industrializing with particular strength in electronics, Crystals, and manufacture goods. In 1775, the population was around 12.5 million citizens. With urbanization underway by the late 1700s, the population rose up to 25 million by 1910. During its 422 years of existence, Solarius became the largest economy in Ilus by 1800 G.D. In the Modern Era, Solarius witness the arrival of the First Unknown.
