Liberation Day (Besmenian: Tag der Befreiung), is a public holiday in Besmenia, that marks the event when the West Besmenian Revolution ended on June 7, 1966 with the surrender of the West Besmenian government and the collapse of the fascist regime. The holiday was first observed on June 7, 1968 and is only a public holiday in the western Besmenian states (Maurenmark, Lemberland, Greuningia, Frankenburg, Zollingia, Sedakania and Jakartaburg).

Celebrations
- The flagging of public buildings, streets and squares is required by law in most places.
- A ceremony takes place at the West Besmenian Memorial in Melmingen. Guests are the federal president and the governors of the western Besmenian states. Some international politicians are also often present as guests
