The Kurultai (literally "gathering") is the unicameral legislature of the Mongol Uls. Composed of 100 members, the Kurultai serves to pass legislation and provide confidence to the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Composition

The Kurultai is composed of 100 members. 66 are elected by party-list proportional representation in multi-member constituencies. 33 represent the Mongol Clans, while the Bogd Gegeen holds a seat ex-officio.
