Tiberius IV died at Sancti Angeli Hospital in Paradise City due to heart failure less than three months after his 80th birthday. He was buried in the Imperial Crypt in Paradise City.

Legacy
The failure to contain the independence movements in Eastern Hesperidesia was one of the major contributing factors towards the ultimate collapse of the entire Empire. Under Tiberius, for the first time in 500 years, Eastern Hesperidesia was not controlled via minority rule from Hesperidesia, and instead saw the native majority of the area seize control.
