Octavius V was Emperor of Exponent from 1891 until his abdication from the throne in 1896. His abdication, the first in the history of the Empire of Exponent, was triggered by the failure of his government to contain the Albandaean Crisis, and subsequently led to a series of reforms throughout Exponential society.
