The 11th general election in Kaona was be held on the 30th December 2021 to elect both the president and the National Assembly with a second round being held on the 14th January. Under the Kaonese constitution, the president is restricted to two four-year terms in office meaning the incumbent president Lursakdi Sonakul was ineligible to run for a third term.
