Imperium (stylized as IMPERIVM) is a Blackhelm Confederate producer of charvonia distributed by Oivio, and is headquartered in Port Elizabeth, Blackhelm Confederacy.

Imperium is considered one of the major charvonia houses in Hesperidesia, and routinely sells over 100 million bottles each year, making it the highest selling charvonia brand on Earth. The brand was purchased by Oivio in 1998, following the dissolution of the Empire of Exponent and the subsequent economic turmoil in the short-lived Republic of Charvonia.

History

The Imperium brand traces its roots back to 1809, when the brand's founder Antonius Marillius created a charvonia trading house in the port city of Port Elizabeth, intending to make a living by selling to the sailors setting out for Lorecia and the Insula Fera. Wanting to tie in the symbol of the Empire of Exponent - the dragon - so that visiting sailors would remember the drink, he added a logo to his bottles in 1811.

Imperium sales began to take a sharp downturn following the economic woes of the 1980's and 90's, and when the Rpublic of Charvonia declared independence from the Empire of Exponent, the economic situation in Port Elizabeth grew even worse. On the verge of bankruptcy, the brand was saved when it was purchased by Oivio, a major beverage distributor from Valkea. With Oivio's investment, and the stablization of the economic situation on Hesperidesia, Imperium was able to recover during the 21st century to become the world's leading charvonia brand.
