Background

The Socialist Republic of Malgrave entered the international community on the 13th of April 1941 when it openly rejected the then isolationist policies of the Malgravean central government. It instead opted to embrace a more internationalist stance, with the overall hope of gaining international recognition and support for its socialist struggle against the government in Epping.

On an organisational level the foreign policy aims of the Socialist Republic of Malgrave was decided by the Premier, Prime Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, with these foreign policy objectives being handled by civil servants at the foreign office, local ambassadorial staff (when appropriate), the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Premier.

World Assembly

Despite it's internationalist outlook the Socialist Republic refused to join the World Assembly stating that it was a puppet for capitalist, imperialist and fascistic interests and instead said that it wished to form it's own internal and external policy outside of the influence of these evil ideological groups.
