The 2006-07 AHL season was the second year after promotion and relegation were introduced to the league. It saw its first former AHLC team, the Narardum Narwhals, enter the competition.

The Aesir Avalanche would become league champions of the 2006-07 season, defeating the defending champions the Celaton Centaurs in the Playoff Finals.
