Sky Five (Korean: 스카이 파이브 seukai paibeu), often stylized Sky5 or SKY V, is an Amenrian, formerly Korean, girl group formed in 2036. The group consists of five members: Nova, Selene, Sunny, Terra, and Stella. Before the Third World War, they served under Red Squirrel Entertainment, until the company went bankrupt in 2041. In 2043, the rights to the group's intellectual property were bought by Skytree Entertainment, releasing Reach for the Sky and continuing the group's activity after it's four year hiatus.
History
Pre-debut
After winning Skytree's "Tree of Life" auditions in 2033, the group rose to prominence for the introduction singles by each member made to familiarize fans with each member's talents, vibes, and personality. Before the group's lineup was finalized in 2035, Stella was added as a last-minute addition.
Prior to the group, Nova and Stella were contestants in Youth Producers 101, with the former representing herself and the latter representing Golden Egg Culture. Nova earned 12th place in the show, while Stella's last and highest position was the 20th. Nova continued to become an independent soloist while Stella remained as a trainee in Golden Egg. Terra was an underground rapper and Selene was a celebgram. Sunny auditioned for various companies but ended up signing for Skytree due to it's flexible management policies which allowed her to live with, and maintain her relationship with her (now separated) boyfriend. Stella was the last member to join the group, transferring from her previous agency after being enamored by Nova's performances in the auditions.
