The Labour Party is one of three major political parties in Beatavic alongside their two rivals, the Conservative Party, and the Liberal party

The Labour Party was founded by supporters of Robbert-Jan ten Seldam on October 4th, 1901, having grown out of trade union movements in the country and socialist parties of the 19th century. It overtook the Liberal Party to become the main opposition to the Conservative Party in the early 1930s
